Sunway Estates' 2024 Wrapped

New Year is fast approaching and with it - a time to reflect on the passing year and look into the future. What did 2024 have in stock for Sunway Estates team? Several major awards, participation in an international property expo and dozens of happy investors.

The awards

Let’s start with the awards. We aren’t in it for the trophies, but it’s nice to be recognized - and doubly so if it’s by some of Thailand’s top developers.

Origin PLC

Origin PLC is one of Thailand’s biggest and most reputable developers. The company operates since 2009, had gone public in 2015 and as of now has over 150 projects in their portfolio.

We collaborated with Origin as one of master agents for their Origin Resort World mixed-use development in Bangtao, Phuket, and consecutively, got 2 awards at the exclusive ceremony at Intercontinental Sukhumvit Bangkok (which happens to be owned by Origin):

• Top performance for presales projects
• Top-1 international agency sales performance overall

That is to say we’d been their top-selling agent in Thailand (by a good amount). Which we are proud to be - they had some exceptional projects that made some prudent investors very happy.

CG Capital

CG Capital is a real estate investment arm of Central Group - one of Thailand’s leading business groups. If you’d ever been to Thailand, you will definitely know one of Central Group’s malls - centralwOrld, Central Embassy, Central Chidlom, Central Festival Pattaya, Central Floresta Phuket, Porto de Phuket and many, many more. Apart from that Central Group has multiple business lines, including retail, hospitality, financial services, F&B and more across Asia and Europe.

One of those business lines is residential development. And last January they unveiled something truly special - The Standard Residence Phuket Bang Tao - the first The Standard residences in Thailand.

This is the kind of development we’d been very happy and proud to offer to our clients. And to great effect: we’d gotten a Standout Success award from the developer for the best performance in the highest sales value (highest sales volume in the project).

Botanica Luxury Villas

Botanica is the leading luxury pool villa developer on Phuket. Lead by renowned Thai architect Attasit Intarachooti, the company started as a boutique developer, but grew into a true powerhouse, with 27 projects and multiple awards under their belt by 2024.

With an impeccable track record, high quality standards and wide selection of designs, many of our Phuket clients ended up choosing Botanica’s projects for their next holiday home or rental property. To that end, we’d ended up getting a ‘Top performer for outstanding performance in sales’ for the 2nd result of 2024 by sales volume.

Expos

This year our team went to Moscow to represent 2 Thailand’s top developers - CG Capital and Origin PLC - at International Property Show. Along with the developer’s representatives, we introduced new investment opportunities in Thailand to Russian investors.

The team

Our team is approaching the New Year slightly bigger: we’d made some great hires this year, particularly in Bangkok. Our Bangkok team also moved to One City Centre (the shiny new Grade A office tower in Ploenchit) - come say hi!

With all that said, we are still a boutique agency at heart and can afford to be picky with our headhunting, so you can expect the same personal approach - always.

Looking back into 2024 there is lot to be thankful for.

Anything we achieve stems from the trust our clients put into us - and for that, from the bottom of our hearts - thank you!

We are grateful that, in the fast and loud industry, there is a place for our slow and low-key approach - only the properties we are confident in, only the developers that have proven their ability and reliability, exceptional over easy.
